Aaron Wissing

Aaron Wissing earned the B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering summa cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2020. He is currently pursuing the M.S. and Ph.D degrees in Electrical Engineering. Prior to joining UCSB, Aaron interned at MIT Lincoln Laboratory and HRL Laboratories where he worked on silicon photonic modulators and optical phased arrays. His current research interests include optical communications for data centers, silicon photonics, and electronic/photonic co-design. Outside of research, he enjoys playing guitar and training on gymnastic rings.
